HPE Respects Your Privacy

--- This Privacy Notice applies to the personal information collected and processed in the context of HPE OneSphere. HPE OneSphere is a platform for building operating and optimizing workloads running across hybrid IT estates. HPE is responsible for the collection and processing of your personal information in the context of the Portal.

Personal Information We Collect

You provide us with personal information such as email address and password when you create an account in the Portal. You may also choose to provide with additional personal information if you use additional features provided by our partners.

How We Use the Personal Information We Collect

We use your personal information to create and administer your account in the Portal. We may also use your personal information as otherwise needed to provide and maintain the Portal and enable you and others to use the Portal.

Personal Information We Share

We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information we collect about you, except as described in this Privacy Notice.

In order to operate the Portal, we may share your personal information with HPE affiliates and with our service providers who may have access to your personal information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obliged not to disclose your personal information or use it for any other purposes.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.

We also reserve the right to transfer personal information we have about you in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use personal information you have provided to us in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Notice. 

Your Rights and Choices

At any time, you can request your IT administrator to update or delete your account information or if you are an IT administrator, you can request HPE to update or delete your account information or general information about the HPE OneSphere instance, or to remove the entire HPE OneSphere instance.

International Data Transfers

We may transfer or disclose personal information to recipients in countries other than the country in which the information was originally collected. These countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information. When we transfer or disclose your personal information to other countries, we will protect that information as described in this Privacy Notice and we will comply with applicable legal requirements providing adequate safeguards for the transfer of personal information to countries outside the European Economic Area.

How We Protect Personal Information

We apply appropriate safeguards to transfer your personal information internationally and to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse and any other unlawful processing of personal information.

Features and Links to Other Websites

Within the Portal you may choose to use certain features for which we partner with other entities. For instance, if you have Gravatar account your picture may be automatically uploaded on the Portal. These features may operate independently from HPE and may have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly suggest you review.
